Memories are what children remember when they leave your classroom. It isn’t the math unit on multiplication or the comprehension reading strategy you taught. It is the memory of a funny moment, a special field trip, or even how you made your students feel. An end of year memory books is a powerful way to have students share what has happened during the school year. Make sure to take some time as the end of the school year approaches to have students compile a memory book. It will be a great keepsake for them as they leave elementary school, head off to middle school, finish high school and then beyond. They will cherish these forever!
